How Do I Place a Print on Demand Order

Placing a POD order on BrandSKU takes four steps: choose a product, upload and position your design, select the variants you want, and check out. This article walks through each step.

Step 1: Choose a Product to Design

Browse the BrandSKU catalog and select the product you want to customize. You can filter by category, printing method, or destination country to narrow down products that fit your needs.

Once you've picked a product, click Start Designing to open the product designer.

Step 2: Upload a File and Design

Upload your design file into the designer. For best results, use a JPG or PNG file at 150 DPI or higher — see What File Format and Resolution Should My Design Be for full requirements.

Once uploaded, the design is saved to your account and appears in the print area. Adjust it as needed:

• Position — drag the design to move it around the print area.
• Resize — drag the corner handles to scale up or down.
• Rotate — use the rotate handle to angle the design.

If the product supports multiple print areas (front, back, sleeves, etc.), switch between them at the bottom of the designer to add designs to each area.

Step 3: Add to Cart and Select Variants

Once your design looks right, choose the specific variants you want to order:

• Color
• Size
• Quantity
• Any additional print areas (extra fees may apply)

Click Add to Cart to save the configured product.

Tip: Review the mockup preview one more time before adding to cart. What you see in the preview is close to how the final product will look — any obvious issues (design too small, off-center, wrong color) are easier to fix now than after checkout.

Step 4: Checkout and Place Your Order

When you're ready, go to your cart and click Checkout.

1. Enter the shipping address. Shipping cost will be calculated based on destination country and product weight.
2. Review the full order summary — product, variants, design preview, shipping method, and total cost.
3. Choose a payment method: credit or debit card (Visa, Mastercard, Amex), PayPal, Stripe, or your BrandSKU Wallet balance.
4. Click Place Order to submit.

Once payment is complete, your order enters production automatically and moves into Being Fulfilled status. You can track its progress anytime from Dashboard → Orders → My Orders.
