BrandSKU generates an invoice for every paid order. You can download individual invoices as PDF files, view your full transaction history, and set up your business details once so they appear on all future invoices automatically. This article walks through how to do each.
Step 1: Set Up Your Invoice Details
Before downloading invoices, set up the billing information that will appear on them. This is a one-time setup — once saved, all future invoices will use these details automatically.
- Go to Dashboard → Finance & Billing → Invoice Settings.
- Enter your business or personal billing information, including:
- Business or personal name
- Billing address
- Tax ID or VAT number (if applicable)
- Click Save.
Tip: If you're purchasing on behalf of a registered business, add your tax ID or VAT number in this step. It'll appear on all future invoices and can be used for tax deductions or VAT reclaims.
Step 2: Download an Individual Invoice
Once an order is paid, its invoice is generated automatically and becomes available for download.
- Go to Dashboard → Orders → My Orders and open the order you want the invoice for.
- On the order details page, click Download Invoice.
- The invoice will download as a PDF, and a copy will also be sent to your registered email address.
Each invoice includes:
- BrandSKU business and tax registration details
- Your billing information as saved in Invoice Settings
- Order number, date, and products purchased
- Product cost, branding fees, shipping cost, and any applicable taxes
- Total paid
Step 3: View Your Transaction History
To view all your invoices and transaction records in one place:
- Go to Dashboard → Finance & Billing → Invoices.
- Use the filters at the top to narrow by date range, store, or invoice type.
- Click any invoice to view details, or click Download to save it as a PDF.
You can also export multiple invoices at once by selecting them and clicking Bulk Download — useful for month-end accounting.
Important Policies
Invoices cannot be modified after they've been issued. Any changes to your billing details, tax ID, or business name will only apply to invoices generated after the update. Orders paid before the change will keep the original invoice information.
Because of this, we recommend updating your Invoice Settings before making a payment if you know your details need to change.
For Refunded Orders
If an order was fully or partially refunded, a credit note is issued in addition to the original invoice. You'll find both on the order details page and in your Invoices list.
Credit notes reference the original invoice number and show the refunded amount separately, so your accounting records stay clean.
